I’ll start naming them in order of my droll scale.

The most popular food you will here around here is: Mofongos! Yes, those banany delicious plates that you just wanna slap to give it more flavor, yes those.

The other popular food that you might see in a lot of signs
as you drive though beach kiosks is: Pinchos! Yes, those shishkabab looking
beauties that when you just had a few drinks will eat like a hungry giant, yes
those.

As we come down from the popularity scale, we reach more
banany foods, fabulous! This dark looking food is actually tastier and sweeter
than it looks, I present you: Pastelon. Yes, those burnt-lasagna looking pieces
that will surprise you on the first bite you take, yes those.

When you check out the beach, you might find these tasty
cheap little snacks that will blow your mind, we call them: Empanadas. Yes,
those sweet-bread looking pieces of homemade art that will stop your hunger
after a nice swim at the beach, yes those.

Another small tasty snack that hits you when you least
expect it is the: Bacalaito. Yes those sneaky non-appetizing looking tortillas
that will wake your senses up for satisfaction, yes those.

A Zorrucho looking food that is actually salty is: alcapurria. Yes, these Twinkie looking sticks with a meaty surprise in the middle, yes those.
